Be the change you want to see in the world. The Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission has implemented a new leadership and mentoring program called Leadership, Education, and Acceptance of Diversity (LEAD). LEAD is in place to help teach young Arkansans of all races the principles of racial and religious harmony, as espoused by Dr. King, to encourage young people to address and resolve underlying racial tensions, to avoid explosive situations, and to have youth groups prepared in the event that there are incidents of racial conflict in a given community. We challenge you to get involved and make change happen.
